211 - Calculus
Prerequisites:
(I) Advanced math competence -- algebra and suitable placement scores, or Math 112 or Math 114. Math 210 is NOT a prerequisite for Math 211.

Student Body:
Primarily for students in social science and prebusiness.

Math 211 covers essential concepts of differential and integral calculus; exponential and logarithm functions and functions of several variables. This course (together with Math 210) forms an introduction to calculus and related topics designed primarily for prebusiness students. Notice that Math 210 is NOT a prerequisite for Math 211.
Alternatives:
Students in Engineering, Math, Physics and Science majors should take Math 221 rather than Math 211.
