My interests lie mainly in representation stability and representation theory as well as their connection to combinatorics. Summer and Spring 2018: With the time afforded by the Algebra RTG funding, I have submitted two papers for publication. The first, https://arxiv.org/abs/1704.00111, was recently accepted for publication in the Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics. I presented this paper in the University of Wisconsin algebraic geometry seminar and traveled to present at DePaul University in their algebra seminar.

 

After completing the previous paper, I began to study and research representation stability. The additional time afforded by the RTG funding greatly expedited my introduction to this field. As a result, I was able to write a new paper https://arxiv.org/abs/1803.04259 proving a bounded degree generation result about Plucker ideals. I submitted this paper for publication and presented it as my specialty exam in the University of Wisconsin combinatorics seminar.

 

The RTG support also gave me the time to attend a Representation Stability workshop and conference over the summer.
