B107 - the Math Department's Computer Classroom

B107 is the Math Department's Computer Classroom. It has 21 PCs with the Windows XP operating system. Twenty of these are to be used by students with two students sharing a single PC. There is also a PC on a mobile cart for the instructor's use. In addition, there is a ceiling mounted projector linked to the instructor's PC for computer demonstrations.

Using B107 Any Math Department faculty, academic staff or graduate student may use B107 for instructional purposes. Here are the instructions:

  1. Contact the Math Department Receptionist in 213 Van Vleck to reserve the room for you session.
  2. Contact Hieu Nguyen in 507 Van Vleck to arrange for accounts and passwords. Hieu can also assist you if you need to install any software or need instruction in using the computer facilities in B107.
  3. Check out the key for B107 from the Math Department Library in B224 Van Vleck using your faculty/staff ID card.
