Giving to the UW Math Department

Private giving plays a crucial role in many activities of the Mathematics Department. Private gifts support distinguished lecture series, research by members of the department, and many types of prizes and fellowships for undergraduate and graduate students. Information about recent activities and prizes can be found in Van Vleck Notes, our departmental newsletter accessible from the News and Events webpage.

If you wish to make a gift to the Mathematics Department, you can choose among several alternatives. We welcome contributions to the Mathematics Department's General Fund which supports all the various activities of the department, or to any of the targeted funds given below.

A gift with a particular target can be made to one of the following accounts. Click on the word Donate to reach the on-line donation site.

If you prefer to contribute by mail, here is a printable form to mail in with your check or credit card information. In the space provided on the form write "Mathematics Department" and, if you wish, the name of the specific fund.

Thank you. The Mathematics Department is grateful for your contribution. We look forward to hearing from you.

Leslie Smith, Chair of the Mathematics Department
