Math 751: Algebraic Topology I

This course is the first part of the standard year-long course on algebraic topology
and form a core of the materials for all Geometry and Topology qualifying exam.
 
We will cover the first two chapters of Hatcher's book.
More specifically, we will cover, at least, covering spaces, van Kampen theorem,
singular and simplicial homology, axiomatic description of homology and
catetores and functors.
