Math Club Social

We're going to have an End-of-Year Social this Friday (5/8). To welcome finals, relieve stress, take a little time off studying (although studying is not expressly prohibited), and hang out with your peers and some of your professors, we're inviting you to spend your Friday between 3.45 - 5.30 on 1st Floor Plaza with us. In case of unfavourable weather (which is likely), we'd move the event to the 9th floor lounge. We'll confirm this later. Food will be provided.

What is an REU?

if you're wondering whether we still exists, we come back this semester to present you an event that would be interest to many of our juniors and sophomores (Freshmen are welcome too!). Prof. Gheorghe Craciun will give talk about the Math Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program in Madison this summer. There are four different programs in applied mathematics that'll be offered. Prof. Craciun will give overview on all four and take time in the end for Q&A sessions. This talk will take place this Monday (2/16) at 4.35pm in VV 901.
