I am currently a Van Vleck Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison working under the supervision of Leslie M. Smith and Samuel N. Stechmann. I am primarily interested in geophysical fluid flow, integrable systems, and nonlinear waves.

I am originally from Osorno, Chile. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering. I obtained my Ph.D. from the Applied & Interdisciplinary Mathematics program at the University of Michigan in 2015. My advisors were Peter D. Miller in the Mathematics Department and Brian K. Arbic in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department.
