Use of calculators will not be allowed for quizzes or exams. You must bring a valid UW Photo ID to all exams.
If you are eligible for special consideration on exams, please let me know as soon as possible, so that I can ensure that your needs are accommodated.

Help

Don't let your questions go unanswered or your confusion unresolved. There are several resources available when you want some help outside of lecture and discussion: (All of this information, and more, can be found at the Getting help in your math class page.)

Grading

There will be homeworks collected once a week, quizzes, two midterms, and a final. The grade breakdown will be: 20% section grade (including quizzes and homeworks), 20% each midterm, 40% final.
Section grades will be adjusted at the end of the semester, so that even if your TA grades harder than another TA, that will not adversely effect your grade.
