My research currently focusses on heat and diffusion equations in differential
geometry. Curve Shortening is the simplest nontrivial example of such an
equation (the video shows an example of a solution of Curve Shortening).
Other examples include Mean Curvature Flow and Ricci Flow.

My other current research interest is in applications of mathematics to
biology.

In Fall 2019 I will teach math 421, Theory of Single Variable Calculus.
