Welcome! I am a second year graduate student at the University of Wisconsin, Madison in the mathematics Ph.D. program. In 2010 I graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota with a B.A. in Mathematics. My mathematical interests tend strongly to the algebraic, and in particular I enjoy algebraic geometry and I am curious if I might discover cool ways to apply geometric ideas to number theory problems. I also enjoy things geometric in a broader sense, and I am fascinated by the way that geometric ideas often seem to defy the boundaries between categories.
