Homework:
All the homework for this class will be done through Webwork ( WebWork Login ), which can be reached via the moodle site ( Moodle - Math 112 Homepage ). The most important thing I can tell you is that listening to lectures and reading about math can only really teach you basic concepts. The best way to learn math is by doing it. In addition, there is too much content in this course for me to lecture on every bit of it. I will do as much as I can, but some of it will be left to you to learn on your own, and the homework is the best tool available for making sure you understand the material. Obviously, I'll be happy to help you as much as I can as well.
The other thing to remember is that the homework will only help you if you approach it with the correct attitude. Guessing at the answer until WebWork tells you you're right is NOT helpful. Make sure you understand the answer and where it comes from. If you don't, you don't understand the problem and you will likely get it wrong on the test, which is where it really counts.
