The grade for the class will be determined by weekly homework sets (20%), 2 midterms (25% each), and a final exam (30%) which will take place on the 9th of May.
You can find a list of homework problems at Prof Smith's website. You should work on these problems before discussion section.
The homework is due in lecture every Thursday. Late homework will be accepted until 5PM Friday, for 80% credit.
Both TA's share the same mailbox so it is VERY IMPORTANT that you put your name, your TA's name, and your section number on any homework that is turned in late.
