Who am I?
Well, this is a very interesting question. If you really want a straight answer to this question you should stop reading this now and arrange a meeting! On the other hand, I am having below some not very exciting but highly informative facts.
Teaching
Currently I am a TA (my fourth semester) for the Math Depatment of UW- Madison. This semester I am TA-ing Math 211 (Business Calculus) for Prof. Rafe Jones. Any Calculus class can be classified as my 'favorite' in terms of teaching, but I believe that my best will always be Calculus 222.
Mathematical Interests
My interests lie in Probability Theory. Particularly, I am interested in applications of probability in other areas of Mathematics (or sciences in general) and vice verca. It's still to early for me to decide precicely the area that I want to specialize further but there are a lot of possible candidates (which is kind of soothing:)). As of recently, my advisor is Prof. Timo Seppalainen.
Non Mathematical Interests (i.e. Hobbies)
I have a lot of these actually, because I needed to find a way to clear my mind from mathematical thoughts (it's really bad when you are trying to sleep or when you are stuck on a problem). So I like reading (mystery and fantasy books- and yes I liked LOTR), I play TCG games, board games, drawing, play some computer games and I read (and collect) comic books (any kind of them). Finally, my favourite hobby of all is definetely hanging out with friends. For more information about the latter, go to the picture gallery!
