Welcome to the graduate participation seminar in analysis at UW-Madison, part of the VIGRE program here in the Math department. This page contains current information about our seminar including a schedule.
The GPS Analysis seminar was restarted Fall 2007. This seminar hopes to create an environment that encourages graduate students of all levels to get involved in the field of analysis. The seminar talks are informal and are a good way to learn about topics not necessarily covered in graduate courses. We welcome anyone interested in analysis to attend the seminar and encourage as many people as possible to participate by giving a talk. This is a great opportunity to give a seminar talk to an audience of only graduate students.
If you have any questions or would like to join the seminar, just come to our next scheduled meeting, or email Jason Murko (murko (at) math.wisc.edu) or Elizabeth Mihalek (mihalek (at) math.wisc.edu).
We meet on Mondays at 2:25pm in room B211 Van Vleck, unless otherwise indicated.
This schedule is subject to change and will be updated regularly.
