The 2009 Graduate Student Topology & Geometry Conference will be held at the University of Wisconsin on April 18th and 19th. The keynote lecturers are:

Now in its seventh year, the GSTGC is an opportunity for graduate students from across the country working in geometry and topology to share their work with one another. It is open to all graduate students, whether they are in their final year of study or are just starting out and still be deciding on their field. Participants are invited to give 30 minute talks; the subject need not be original research, but simply something the speaker enjoys and wishes to share. Talks should, in particular, be accessible to an audience of graduate students of varying levels.
