About me

I am a fourth year graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I recieved a BS in Mathematics and Computer Sciences in 2005 here at UW as well. Though I grew up in Northern Virginia (which isn't the same as the rest of VA...). I have deep Wisconsin roots - I am a fourth generation UW graduate, and I vacationed here nearly every summer in my younger days due to the various relatives in the area. In May 2007 I married Jennie, my high school sweetheart, and we live with two Cocker Spaniels, Kira and Zeus.

When I'm not doing math (and too often when I probably should be doing math...), I enjoy cooking, reading various fiction and nonfiction books, baseball research, community supported agriculture, and pretending that I still have time to play video games. All of this is eclipsed by my rabid fandom of the Chicago Cubs.
