LINEAR ALGEBRA AND ITS APPLICATIONS Special Issue on the occasion of 1st Montreal Workshop on Idempotent and Tropical Mathematics Call for papers For this special issue of LAA, we solicit papers from all interested within the scope of the Montreal Workshop as shown below: TOPICS of the workshop and of the special issue: Tropical Algebra and Mathematical Physics and their Applications; Tropical Geometry and its Applications. Including: Idempotent analysis; Idempotent functional analysis; Tropical geometry and algebra; Tropical and idempotent convex geometry; Mathematics of idempotent semirings and their applications; Linear algebra over semirings Quantization, dequantization, and related topics of mathematical physics. The deadline for submission of papers is 31 December 2009. Papers for submission should be sent to any of the five special editors, preferably as PDF files in email attachments.
