Welcome to Calculus 222 and thank you for using the web page. Please
let me know if there is any other information you think should be on
our 222 page. Also, please check for additional messages from time to

Someone pointed out an error on the main web page. The 2nd exam is on
the Thursday of the 11th week, which is November 12, and not November 13.
I have now corrected that.

Remember that our first exam is on Thursday Oct. 8, from 5:30 to 7:00.
We have been assigned rooms B102 (our usual lecture room) and
B239, which is a smaller room.
Sara Jensen's students should go to B239, and everyone else
to B102. Everyone MUST go to the room with your own TA.
Remember to bring a page of notes and that you will not be allowed to
use calculators.

The median (middle) score on the 6th week exam was 76, and
as promised, that is a BC. Here is the entire curve.

I made a slight change in HW#15. Problem 51 on Page 17-16
cannot be done by the techniques I taught, so I replaced it
with Problem 52.

I regret that I was unable to give the 222 lectures on Wednesday
and Friday, and I certainly hope to be well enough on Monday, after
resting my voice over the weekend. I trust that Prof. Passman
has taken good care of you.
I have put two homework assignments onto the web page; one
on polar coordinates and one on sequences.
