Grading:

The final grade will be determined by three in class exams (30% each) and the homeworks (10% each). The total score will be curved.

Exams:

There will be three in class exams on Feb 25, April 3 and May 8 respectively. "Make-up exams" cannot be given except in the most unusual circumstances. The student seeking a make-up exam should discuss with the instructor in advance and get the approval before the exam. Calculators are allowed in the exams.

Homeworks:

Homeworks are necessary for learning the materials and passing the exams. Homeworks are collected about every two weeks.
