Practice problems for the second midterm
The final grade will be assigned based on a score out of 500 total points. There are two midterms, each counting for 100 points, and a final, which counts for 200 points. The remaining 100 points are based on performance in the weekly quizzes (held each Thursday during the discussion section) and the homework assignments, which you should submit to me every Tuesday.
Homework and quizzes will be weighted equally (so they will each comprise 50 points). We will hold 13 quizzes throughout the semester, and I'll ignore the lowest 3 quiz grades when I calculate your total quiz grade.
