Personal Information: I am currently a third year graduate student in applied mathematics at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and a third year Trainee in the Biotechnology Training Program (also at the UW-Madison). In 2005, I graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. degree in Mathematics and German Studies. Between my undergraduate and graduate studies, I spent two years living in Vienna, Austria as a Fulbright Scholar/English Language T.A. Outside of math, some of my interests are: soccer (watching, not playing), shopping at the Dane County Farmers Market, and encouraging all those who can to adopt a shelter animal from their local Humane Society or animal adoption group.
Research Interests: Mathematical Biology. I am currently collaborating with the local software firm DNAStar on a protein flexibility project.
