Math 112 SOAR Guidelines

Register for 112 in the fall IF: (special permission needed form the math consultant)

1. Placement Exam placed student into Math 112

AND

2) Delay would interfere with student progress

112 to keep on track in major

112 is a prerequisite for a course needed for the major

Otherwise register for 112 in the spring

Math 114 Placement in Regard to 112:

Students placing in math 114 may take math 112 if they fit in one the below categories:

1. The student is not confident of his/her math skills or wants a slower approach AND meets the second above requirement.

2. The School of Business students who want to take math 210 and 211.
