This is a reminder that the Exam 4 will be in class on Friday
Dec 2. It will cover chapt 7 and 8 and will also contain one
or two questions from chapts 1-6.  No books, no notes, no
calculators, no electronic devices of any kind will be
allowed on the exam.

Dear Steve, Arnold,

I just found a typo in the text for 210: on p. 426 the
formula for sum  of geometric series is wrong. Quite
surprising, given it's the 5th  edition... Anyway, I
thought I'd tell you so that you can point it out to your
students when you get there. Best,
