This is a reminder that the Exam 3 will be in class on Friday
Nov 11. It will cover chapt 5 and 6 and will also contain one
or two questions from chapts 1-4.  No books, no notes, no
calculators, no electronic devices of any kind will be
allowed on the exam.


Q. I'm just wondering if the next test will be like the
last one: seven or so problems, same duration more or less.

A. Yes, probably about the same.

Q. I'm wondering if there is any way I can take test number
three earlier than class on Friday, whether it be Thursday,
early Friday, or any other alternative? My dilemma is that I
have to leave for home sometime Friday afternoon.

A.  Sorry, but I never give the same exam at a different time.
