Reminder:

Exam 3   Friday  Nov 30   in class
No notes, no books, no electronic devices

This exam will cover
  9.4,5,6
 10.1,2,3,4
 12.1
and will have about 6-8 problems.

Next Monday I will be covering 12.1 and next Wed working homework problems
in class and reviewing for the exam.  If there are any exercises you would
particularly like see done, email me specifying:  
 page number - problem number


Q. Just wondering, how do you determine our final grades?? Do you record all
the scores and then make the curve or do you just record the letter grade
and average those.

A. I use the total of the numerical scores to determine the final grade.
