Abstract:
Infinite dimensional Kac-Moody algebras of indefinite signature, such as E10, have a surprising connection to M-theory. I will discuss a relation between roots of E10 and physical objects in M-theory, such as fluxes, particles, and branes. If time permits, I will present an application to orbifolds of M-theory
