Representation theory for vertex operator algebras

Abstract:

I will present a recent work on the representation theory for vertex operator algebras. That is, a vertex operator algebra is rational if and only if its Zhu algebra is semisimple. This gives an internal characterization of rationality of vertex operator algebras. This is a joint work with Cuipo Jiang.
