(NOTE: At this point we switched to a new textbook, 5th edition of
Thomas and Finney, which changed the order in which material was covered
and hence what part of the course might be on each exam. Also note that
in summer school there was no scheduled final exam period so the exam
was split between two class periods.)

"satellite" format, not a large lecture, and the first exam
had one part in common among all the satellite sections and a second
