Student Body:
Students who need a background in algebra for calculus. It also serves students as a terminal course to fulfill their QR-A requirement.
Background and Goals: The main focus of Math 112 is preparation for continued work in mathematics, especially in the various calculus sequences. At the same time it incorporates instruction in quantitative reasoning skills so that it satisfies the Quantitative Reasoning A requirement.
Alternatives:
Math 112 and Math 113 are equivalent to Math 114.
Subsequent Courses:
Students who plan to take Math 221 need to go into Math 113 (Trigonometry)
