I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison working under the supervision of Leslie M. Smith and Samuel N. Stechmann. I am primarily interested in geophysical fluid flow, integrable systems, and nonlinear waves.

I am originally from Osorno, Chile. I graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2009 with a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering. I obtained my Ph.D. from the Applied & Interdisciplinary Mathematics program at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 2015. My advisors were Peter D. Miller in the Mathematics Department and Brian K. Arbic in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department.
