I am a first-year graduate student at University of Wisconsin, Madison. My interests are still developing, but I am currently exploring low-dimensional topology and geometric group theory.
I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from UC Berkeley, wrapping up 18 years of pure, organic California public school education. During my last two years at Berkeley, I did an REU on geometric group theory with Dan Margalit and Balazs Strenner and wrote a thesis (you can read it here) with Ian Agol and Carolyn Abbott. I also spent a semester in Budapest. You can see my full CV here.
You can reach me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or in person at Van Vleck 101.
