The UW did well again in the 83rd Putnam math competition. Our team ranked 14th nationwide (plus Canada). Our student Haran Mouli ranked 25-100, Jonah Guse ranked 101-210. Additionally, Kyle Boone, Yangkun Dai, Tianlong Huang, Yuval Lerman and Yufei Zhan made to the top 500. UW-Madison did very well during the annual MAA Putnam Competition. Our university ranked #25 nationwide, including Canada, out of 427 other institutions. Justin Sukiennik, Associate Faculty Associate, has been named a recipient of one of the 2021 Forward in Access Awards. Justin, who serves as our Co-Director of the Precalculus Program, was honored for creating an inclusive educational experience for all students. Undergraduate Sam Christianson has been awarded a 2021-2022 Wisconsin Hilldale Undergraduate/Faculty Research Fellowship.
