The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) selected Jean-Luc Thiffeault as a member of its 2026 Class of SIAM Fellows. Jiwoong Jang, who got his PhD here in 2024, and his former advisor Hung Tran have received the Best Paper Award 2025 for their publication in Advances in Continuous and Discrete Models.
